Supported CNC controllers and post-processors
CNC Pocket Cam Programmer has seven post-processors: Fanuc, Haas, Okuma, Mitsubishi, Siemens, GRBL and Mach3. Each one writes the program in the format that controller expects. The app sends the program over RS-232 USB serial, Bluetooth, WiFi TCP or FTP, or exports it as a file.
Post-processors
| Post-processor | Typical machines |
|---|---|
| Fanuc | Industrial mills and machining centres with Fanuc and Fanuc-compatible controls |
| Haas | Haas mills |
| Okuma | Okuma machining centres |
| Mitsubishi | Machines with Mitsubishi controls |
| Siemens | Machines with Siemens Sinumerik controls |
| GRBL | Desktop and hobby CNC routers |
| Mach3 | PC-controlled hobby and small shop machines |
Heidenhain Klartext is not supported.
Transfer to the machine
- RS-232 USB serial: USB-to-serial adapter to the control's RS-232 port.
- Bluetooth: Bluetooth serial adapter on the machine.
- WiFi TCP socket and FTP upload: controls with a network connection.
The app can detect the controller and recommend settings. It has 8 built-in machine profiles and you can add custom profiles.
Check every program on your control before cutting: dry run or run above the part first, and confirm the work offset and tool length.
